This summer witnessed the launch of E ONE SIX London: a luxury line of men’s shirts fusing attention to detail and engineered construction with quality fabrics and production. Clean lines, exquisite detailing and subtle shades alongside crisp whites, contribute to the appeal of this contemporary new label - E ONE SIX - born out of the industrial heart of East London Docklands.
The collection was inspired by the lifestyle of ‘modern man on the move’, designed to take him fluidly from office to bar to home. Smart enough to sharpen up a suit yet relaxed enough to look great with jeans or chinos.
The E ONE SIX LONDON collection has been created by fashion designer Daniel Blake, known for this eponymous womenswear label, whose experience is rooted in engineered construction, and with a reputation built on classic tailoring with a twist. The fabrics and shirts are produced in a single European factory (reducing carbon footprint and ensuring quality consistency): at least 35 separate parts go into constructing one shirt, taking a skilled worker a minimum of 80 minutes to make a shirt from start to finish. Each piece is confidently stamped with the E ONE SIX logo referencing the bygone era of the East LONDON Dockers.
The Spring/Summer 2011 collection will also be available at luxury menswear retailers. If you are a retailer and would be interested in stocking the collection, please contact us.
